How do I manually sync products to my store?

Manually syncing products ensures proper connection between your existing store listings and Printful, especially if you’re migrating from another print-on-demand provider. You have two options: either create new products within Printful and then push them to your store, or import your existing listings and connect them to Printful’s catalog.

Step 1: Connect your store

Start by connecting your store to Printful. You can choose from over 20 ecommerce platforms and marketplace integrations.

For platform-specific instructions, go to your Dashboard → Stores section and click Choose platform. Follow the integration instructions to complete your store setup. 

Step 2: Choose your sync method

After creating or connecting your existing store, you have two options to add and sync Printful products.

Add new products from your Printful Dashboard

1. Go to Dashboard → Stores, then click Add product (or go to My products → Create product).
2. Choose a product from the Product catalog and customize it in the Design Maker.
3. Once you’re happy with the result, follow the guided flow to publish the product to your store.

Import and sync existing products manually

1. Go to Dashboard → Stores, select your store, and toggle on Import not synced products from [your platform]. If you don't see this toggle, then existing products will automatically be imported from your store.

2. Once the data has completed syncing, your imported listings will appear under the Imported tab.
3. Click Sync product → Choose product for each variant.
4. Create a matching Printful equivalent or use a pre-made Product template.
5. Click Continue to complete the sync. If the product has two options - color and/or size, the AI product sync wizard will offer to apply the same settings across other variants to match. Alternatively, you can sync each product variant manually.
6. Repeat this for all products you want to sync.
7. Review and update product descriptions, images, and pricing in your store if needed.

This way, you can synchronize your current store listings with Printful products to retain existing reviews and traffic, while Printful handles fulfillment.
