On January 18, 2024, your logo, currently located on the inside of the lower hem, will automatically be transferred to the new logo area—the label panel—on a white background.
How will the new logo placement look?
Starting January 18, your logo will be displayed on a moon-shaped patch on the upper part of the back, and the default background color for the new placement is white (for reference, see the image below). No further action is required if you’re satisfied with how it looks. If you’d like to change the background color of the moon-shaped patch, you must enable background customization.
The label placement is an additional detail sewn on top of the original hoodie with stitching visible from the outside.
Mockups with the current logo placement will be outdated starting from January 18. You can manually update them by uploading new mockups in the Store section of your Printful Dashboard, where you can generate and download the updated versions.
How can you activate the new label background customization for existing product listings from January 18?
If you want to change the label background color for an existing listing, you have to add it to your store again. This step is necessary to reset the Design Maker and enable the new logo area customization.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to your 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘋𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥
- In the 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴 section, choose the store with the AOP Hoodie listing
- Click on the 𝘈𝘥𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 button, open the All-Over Print Recycled Unisex Hoodie, and click 𝘈𝘥𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦
- Customize it using your existing product templates or create a new design
- Add the finished product to your store
- Then go to the 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴 section, choose the store with the AOP Hoodie listing
- Choose the “old” listing you already had in your store
- Click the three dots on the right side of the product and press 𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦
