Starting next week (May 13), we’ll begin transitioning from in-house production to partnership production for our Canvas (in). In fact, we’ve partnered with an expert in the wall art field to bring you an expanded range of canvas options—40 different sizes, to be exact!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Expanded canvas options. With this partnership, we’ll offer 40 canvas sizes, giving you more freedom to find the perfect fit for your artwork.
- Adjusted pricing. This partnership will not only offer you a wider selection but also provide better product prices, thanks to automated manufacturing processes and multiple production facilities worldwide. However, please note that shipping prices will also be adjusted.
- Thinner frames. The new canvas frames will be thinner, measuring 1.25″ instead of 1.50″. Please note that the frontal view of the canvas will remain unchanged, but there will be a slight difference on the edges. Approximately 0.25″ of the graphic that was previously on the sides will now be visible on the back.
- New design guidelines. For all canvas sizes, we’ll provide new downloadable print file templates on the product page and guidelines in the Design Maker. No design will be cut off for the new sizes. For existing sizes, our Design Maker templates will be adjusted so that you only see the part that will be visible on the product.
Important
If you use any integration besides Shopify, you’ll have to manually adjust your shipping rates for the existing Canvas (in) sizes. Learn how to configure shipping for Etsy at the end of this FAQ article. Find out more about setting up shipping for all the other platforms here.
Regardless of your integration, we also recommend:
