How can I add new variants to my product listing?

If you want to expand your product offering by adding more sizes, colors, or other design variants, you can do so depending on your store integration. Adding new variants directly from Printful is only available for Etsy, Shopify, Wix, and WooCommerce integrations. For other integrations, you’ll need to take a few additional steps.

For Etsy, Shopify, Wix, and WooCommerce

1. Go to your Dashboard and find the product you want to update.
2. Click Edit next to the product, then click Add variants.
3. After selecting the new variants, click Choose mockups.
4. Select your mockups, adjust your pricing if needed, and click Submit to store.

Note: Only select the new sizes or colors you want to add. If you reselect existing variants, the Choose mockups button will be disabled.

For other ecommerce platforms

If you’re using a different ecommerce integration, adding variants from Printful isn’t supported at this time. Here’s how to update your listing instead:

1. Go to your Dashboard and find the product you want to update.
2. Click the three dots next to the product, then Save as templates (or Duplicate to templates).
3. Delete the existing product listing from your store.
4. Go to your Product templates and click Add to store (or Publish) on the template you just created.
5. Select the full range of variants you want for the new listing and add them to your store.

To delete a product variant

Deleting a variant from Printful is only possible for Shopify and WooCommerce integrations. Here’s how:

1. Locate the product in your Dashboard and click Edit.
2. Click Delete next to the variant you want to remove.
   • To delete multiple variants, select them in bulk, click the three dots, then choose Delete.

For all other integrations, you can try deleting variants directly from your store platform if that option is available. If not, follow the earlier steps to delete the product and republish it with the desired variants.

Note: For Quick Stores there’s no way to delete individual variants for a published product. You can only delete and republish the product.
