If you’re using Printful’s live shipping rates on Shopify, you can add a handling fee or markup directly within your Shopify shipping settings. This lets you increase shipping prices shown to your customers to help cover extra costs or boost your profit margins.
How to adjust Printful live shipping rates in Shopify
- Go to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping and delivery.
- Click on the shipping profile where you use Printful live rates.
- Find Printful Shipping (Rates provided by app).
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to the rate and select Edit rate.
- In the Handling fee section, you can:
- Add a fixed amount
- Add a percentage
- Click Done, then Save to confirm your changes.
Example:
- Printful live rate: $5.00
- Your added handling fee: +$2.00
- Final shipping cost displayed to your customer: $7.00
