For an order to show up in your Printful Dashboard, it has to meet certain requirements. These checks are in place to ensure we can begin fulfillment without delays.
Basic requirements for importing an order

Unique order number
Every order needs a unique number. If the integration attempts to import an order with a number that already exists for your account, the import will fail. -
Paid status
The payment must be completed on your platform. Orders marked as refunded, denied, pending, or with any other unpaid status won’t be imported. -
Synced products
At least one product in the order must be synced with Printful. To import orders with no synced products, turn on Import unsynced orders in your store settings.

Address availability
Orders with a “Pickup” status won’t import because they don’t have a shipping address.

Why your order might not be importing
If your order meets the requirements above but still isn’t importing, check these common issues and solutions.
| Problem | What to do |
| Order hasn’t appeared yet | Refresh your store data and wait; some platforms sync instantly, others can take several hours or up to 24 hrs. |
| Products aren’t synced | Sync them manually or enable Import unsynced orders in your store settings. Then sync & refresh. |
| Order canceled/refunded | These can’t import. Create a new paid order if you still want it fulfilled, or submit the order manually directly from your Printful Dashboard. |
| WooCommerce sync error | Reconnect via OAuth, check permalink settings, and disable any plugins blocking the API. Learn more about this here. |
| Shopify settings prevent import | Make sure payment is captured, order status is Unfulfilled, Printful is set as inventory manager, and fulfillment settings allow syncing. Learn more about this here. |
| Item marked as service/digital (Square) | Change it to a physical item; only physical products import. |
