Yes, you can print a custom neck label either on the inside or the outside of the garment, below the collar. Both label types can be up to 3 x 3 inches, and each has its own cost and use case.
Inside labels
- Placement: Printed on the inside of the garment.
- Availability: Only on apparel with tear-away tags.
- Use: Replaces the original manufacturer tag.
For DTG, DTFlex and embroidery products, your inside label must include:
- Country of manufacturing origin.
- Garment size.
- Material information.
When creating a product in the Design Maker, just upload your logo, and the rest of the required info is filled in automatically based on the shirt’s specs. Learn more about creating custom inside labels in this article: How do I customize inside labels?
For all-over print (AOP) products, the inside label carries your logo or design only. Required product info (size, origin, material) appears on a separate side label instead.
Outside labels
- Placement: Printed on the outside back of the shirt, below the collar.
- Availability: All shirts except racerbacks.
- Guidelines: No specific content requirements; design it however you like.
