Yes! Custom labels are a simple yet powerful way to add a professional touch to your apparel and showcase your brand. At Printful, you can choose between inside and outside labels, each with its own style, cost, and use case. Both types can be up to 3″ × 3″ in size, but you can only use one label type per shirt.
Inside labels
- Cost: USD 0.99 per shirt
- Placement: Printed on the inside of the garment
- Requirements: Available only on apparel with tear-away tags
- Use: These replace the original manufacturer tag
For DTG and embroidery products, your inside label must include:
- Country of manufacturing origin
- Garment size
- Material information
When creating a product in the Design Maker, just upload your logo - the rest of the required info is filled in automatically based on the shirt’s specs.
For all-over print (AOP) products, you can use the label for your logo or design only. The required product info (size, origin, material) will appear on a separate side label.
Outside labels
- Cost: USD 2.49 per shirt
- Placement: Printed on the outside of the shirt, below the collar
- Availability: All shirts except racerbacks
- Guidelines: No specific content requirements, you can be as creative as you like.
