When you push a product from Printful to Etsy, it shows up as a draft instead of going live right away. That’s because Etsy charges a small fee to publish listings, and you get to decide when you’re ready to pay it.
Here’s how it works
- Etsy charges a $0.20 listing fee for every new or renewed product.
- To avoid automatic charges, Printful saves your products as drafts in your Etsy shop.
- You’ll need to manually activate the listing when you’re ready to go live and pay the fee.
- Once activated, the listing is live for 4 months. After that, you’ll need to renew it (and pay another $0.20). Learn more about Etsy fees here.
This gives you more control over when your products are listed and helps avoid surprise fees. You can find and publish your draft listings in your Etsy Shop Manager → Listings section.
