A sales tax holiday is a limited-time period where some US states make specific products tax-exempt.
Sales tax holidays change from year to year, with some states approving the exact dates just weeks or even days beforehand, making them difficult to track. However, most sales tax holidays take place during July and August, before the school season starts.
