On July 1st, we’re launching our revamped volume discounts which will now be called monthly discounts!
The logic stays the same: whenever you make enough sales in a month, you become eligible for monthly discounts that will be automatically applied to all your orders next month. On the 1st of every month, we will calculate your previous month's accumulated sales and see if you’ll be eligible for a discount.
What will change?
We’re introducing new tiers that you have to reach each month to become eligible for a discount on next month’s orders:
We were able to lower our previous discount tiers because we changed the way we count your accumulated sales. The old formula included shipping and taxes and looked like this: Accumulated sales = (Order total - Discounts) + Shipping + Tax / VAT / GST
The new formula includes only what you've paid Printful and looks like this: Accumulated sales = total order sum - discounts - shipping - tax/VAT + digitization + W&F charges on orders + services (design, photo, video, store setup, etc.)
It doesn't include your shipping and taxes, because we don't earn anything from these costs. However, if you use our warehousing and any other of our paid services, those fees will be included in your accumulated sales!
