How do I connect Square with Printful?

Square can be connected directly with Printful so you can create products, manage orders, and automate fulfillment. Once your accounts are linked, you’ll be able to add products through Printful, sync them to your Square Online store, and start selling right away.

Step 1: Connect your Square store

1. Create accounts with both Printful and Square.
   • Square offers a free plan where you only pay a 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee per sale. Paid plans are also available with additional features.
2. In your Printful Dashboard, go to Stores, then click Choose platform.
3. Select Square and click Connect to Square.
4. Log in to your Square account and click Allow to authorize the connection.

Step 2: Add products

Once your accounts are connected, you can push products from Printful directly to your Square Online store.

1. In the Printful Dashboard, go to Stores (or My Products, depending on your view) and select your Square store.
2. Click Add/Create product.
3. Choose a product, then use the Design Maker to create or upload your design.
4. Select product details like colors, sizes, mockups, titles, and descriptions.
5. Set your pricing.
6. Click Submit to store.

The product will sync to your Square Online dashboard.

Step 3: Set up billing

To process orders automatically, add your billing details in Printful:

• Go to Billing → Billing methods in your Printful Dashboard.
• Add your preferred payment method.
• Each time an order is imported from your Square store, Printful will charge you for the product fulfillment and shipping.

Step 4: Configure shipping

You’ll need to set up shipping rates manually in Square.

1. In your Square Dashboard, go to Online → Settings → Fulfillment methods → Shipping.
2. Under Shipping rate profiles click Add profile.
3. Select Item as the Type, and enter the product category (e.g., T-Shirts) as the Profile name.
4. Click Add items to add products to the shipping profile.
5. Add the countries you’ll ship to.
6. Click Add rate, enter the name that customers will see at checkout (e.g., “Standard”).
7. Use Printful’s Shipping page as a guide when setting your rates.
