How do I edit products published to my store?

Managing your published products is simple with Printful! Whether you need to update a design or adjust your pricing, you can handle most changes directly from your Printful Dashboard. This guide will walk you through the editing interface, design updates, and variant management to keep your store up to date.

To view and edit them, go to Stores → View store (or My Products → Published). From there, click Edit next to the product you'd like to modify.

Some features in the product editing screen depend on your ecommerce platform. For more information, please refer to our Integration feature guide. To update the name of your product listing, please do so from your store platform. None of the integrations currently support editing the product name from Printful.

At the top of the editing page, you'll find these buttons:

Edit description: Available only for some integrations. If unavailable, you can update product descriptions directly on your store platform.
Edit design: This allows you to update the design files used for printing. Please note that this option is available only if all product variants share the same design file. If the button is grayed out, it means some variants have different files (common with inside labels, where text color varies). In this case, you’ll need to select variants in bulk and click Change print files.
Download mockups: Download product mockups. You can use this to manually update the mockups on your store or for promotional material.

Note

It's not possible to change the printing technique for an existing product listing or template. You'll need to recreate the product, selecting the technique of your choice before applying a custom design.

When you edit the design, you’ll have an option to publish the new mockups for Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, Wix, and Squarespace stores. For other integrations, you should download the mockups and manually upload them to your store platform.

You can also manage product variants:

Filter variants by color or size.
Select variants in bulk to make changes, such as adjusting print files for specific fabric colors.

For more in-depth changes, click the expand button on the right side of a variant. From there:

Click Edit above the design preview to change the product variant.
Hover over the design preview and click Edit to update individual print files.

Here, you also have the option to unsync a product. This can be useful if the product has been discontinued and you’d like to sync the listing to an entirely different product.

After clicking the Unsync button, click Choose product to sync the variant to a new product and design. You can either create a new one or select one from your product templates. If multiple variants can be synced at once, our bulk sync wizard will offer the option to do so.
