Why is my resale certificate or other tax exemption form not sufficient for Quick Stores?
Quick Stores uses a unique setup where Printful charges the end customer directly at checkout. Because of this, Printful—not you—is considered the seller of record.
That means we’re responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax, and we must do so wherever we have tax nexus—which currently includes most U.S. states.
Note
Since Printful is the one selling to your customer, your Resale Certificate or tax exemption form doesn’t apply to Quick Stores transactions.
