Yes, you can make changes to an order after submitting it—as long as it hasn’t entered the fulfillment stage yet.

Check your order status
- Go to your Printful Dashboard → Orders.
- Click on the order you want to edit.
- Look at the status at the top of the order.
If changes are still possible, you’ll see a Change order option at the bottom of the order view.
Change product or design in the order
If your order hasn’t started fulfillment, you can:
- Edit the product size or color by clicking Change.
- Click Edit below the mockup to change the design files, click Continue after the design adjustments.
- Change the product itself (remove the existing product and add a new one) by clicking Remove, then Add product.
Click Change order, make the needed updates, and don’t forget to click Update order at the end.
Note: Making changes may lead to extra charges or a partial refund depending on what you edit, and it will reset the estimated fulfillment time.
Change address
If your order has already started fulfillment, product changes won’t be available but you might still see a Change address button. That means you can still update the delivery address by adding the new delivery information → selecting the shipping method → proceeding to Review and pay → clicking Update order.
Note: Updating the delivery address may lead to extra charges or a partial refund depending on the delivery address and shipping method, but it will not reset the estimated fulfillment time.
Upgrade shipping method
You can also upgrade or change the shipping method if the order is still editable. Use the Change order or Change address button, adjust the shipping method, and complete all the steps until you click Update order.
Cancel the order
If your order is still labeled “Waiting for fulfillment”, you can cancel it for a full refund.
- Go to your Printful Dashboard → Orders → Open the order.
- If available, click the three-dot menu at the bottom.
- Select Cancel order.
Important things to know
- You can’t change or cancel orders once the status is “Being fulfilled” or “Fulfilled”.
- Putting an order “On Hold” or changing the product resets the fulfillment deadline.
- Changing the shipping address or method does not reset the deadline.
- If your order is fulfilled by a fulfillment partner, changes aren’t possible after submission.
