Since every Printful product is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, wrong size, or wrong color. If an order arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, you can request a free reshipment or a refund; there is no need to send the item back.
What's covered under Printful's refund policy
You're eligible for a free reshipment or refund if:
- The product arrived damaged or defective (for example, a manufacturing error, warped print, or ink issue).
- The design was misprinted (wrong placement, wrong colors, wrong item).
- The package was lost in transit.
For quality issues, you'll need to provide a clear photo of the affected product. If several items with the same design are affected, include one photo showing all of them together.
What's not covered under Printful's refund policy
We don't offer a reshipment or refund if:
- The customer ordered the wrong size or color.
- The customer changed their mind after receiving the order.
- The customer entered the wrong shipping address (in this case, a reshipment can be arranged, but reshipping costs apply).
Exception: For orders shipped to Brazil, customers have the legal right to cancel their order within 7 calendar days of receiving it, under the “right to regret” policy. If this applies, please contact us via the contact form or start a chat.
How to submit a refund or reshipment claim
You can request a reshipment or refund from your Printful Dashboard or by contacting our Support Team. Make sure to describe the issue and attach a clear photo (or video, if multiple items are affected). Our team reviews each report and lets you know whether it's approved.
How refunds are issued
By default, approved refunds are deposited into your Printful Wallet, where you can use them toward future orders or withdraw them back to your original payment method.
If you sell through Quick Stores or submitted your order without creating an account, the refund goes directly to the original payment method instead.
What happens to returned packages
If a package is returned to our facility (for example, due to an invalid address), you'll get an email notification. You can then arrange a reshipment. Shipping charges will apply if the order was unclaimed at customs, returned by the customer, or an incorrect address was provided.
If you don't claim a returned item within 30 days, it's donated to charity and can no longer be reshipped.
