WooCommerce doesn't automatically provide you and your customers with shipping tracking information.
Due to WooCommerce's technical limitations, order tracking info is added to “order notes” instead of the “shipment tracking order meta fields”. This means you won’t see shipment tracking details in any emails or on your WooCommerce account page.
To get tracking information to your customers, you can install a plugin:
- Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce plugin (FREE) or
- WooCommerce Shipment Tracking extension (PAID)
These plugins make sure the tracking information is placed in the correct field so that you and your customers get the shipping tracking information you need.
