Running into issues where your Ecwid orders aren’t syncing or being fulfilled by Printful? If you’re on the Venture plan, there’s one common issue that could be blocking the process. Let’s walk through how to fix it.
Check your product option names
One of the most frequent sync issues comes from incorrect naming of product options in Ecwid.
To ensure your orders sync with Printful, your product variation names must be labeled exactly as:
- Size
- Color
Avoid using plural versions like Sizes or Colors. These won’t be recognized by Printful and may prevent the order from syncing properly.
Tip: You can edit product options in your Ecwid Dashboard under Catalog → Products → Options. Just update the option names to match “Size” and “Color” exactly.
Why does this matter?
On the Venture plan, Ecwid doesn’t offer full variant mapping features that the Business or Unlimited plans do. That means Printful relies on these exact option labels to match product variants and fulfill the correct items.
If the option names don’t match, the order won’t be automatically routed for fulfillment, and you’ll need to correct it manually or mark the product as ignored in Printful.
