You can adjust currency settings in a few different places depending on what you’re trying to do. Whether it’s how your customers pay you, how you pay Printful, or how you view prices on our website, each setting is handled separately.
Changing your store's billing currency
This setting controls which currency you use when paying Printful for order fulfillment. You can set different currencies for each store connected to your Printful account.
To update it:
- Log in to your Printful Dashboard.
- Go to Billing → Billing methods.
- Scroll down for Store billing settings.
- Choose your preferred currency (for each store).
Changing your website display preferences
You can also adjust how you view product and pricing info while browsing our site. This is especially helpful for personal orders or checking prices in your preferred currency.
To update your display settings:
- Go to the top-right corner of the Printful Dashboard.
- Click the Preferences block.
- Click Edit next to Currency.
- Select whether to include or exclude VAT (if your selling preferences include Europe).
- Choose your preferred currency and click Apply.
A few things to keep in mind:
- If you’re not logged in, your personal orders will be charged in the currency you selected for browsing and viewing product prices.
- If you’re logged in, you’ll be charged based on the currency set for your default payment method or in the currency used for the store you’re ordering from.
Changing your storefront currency (how customers pay you)
Your storefront currency determines how your customers see prices and pay you. This is managed directly through your ecommerce platform, not through Printful.
To change it, go into your storefront’s settings (like Shopify, Etsy, etc.) and update the currency from there.
