You won’t be able to delete certain items from your warehouse inventory if they’re still linked to orders, listed in an inventory shipment, or have stock remaining.
To delete an item, it needs to meet all of the requirements below.
1. The item is out of stock
If you still have stock:
- Wait until the items sell out, or
- Get in touch with us to remove your inventory.
2. The item isn’t reserved in an order
Check that the item isn’t part of any orders with the status:
- Waiting for Fulfillment
- Being Fulfilled
- On Hold
- Draft
If it is, you’ll need to wait for it to be completed or cancel the order before deleting the item.
3. The item isn’t suspended
In your Inventory view, look for a Suspended status. This happens if storage fees haven’t been paid. Pay your storage fees, then contact our support team to lift the suspension.
4. The item isn’t part of an inventory shipment
Check if the item is in a shipment with the status:
- In transit
- Processing
- Arrived
In these cases, wait until we receive and stock the shipment. Then open the shipment and click Delete shipment. If the item is in a Draft shipment, simply delete the draft by clicking Delete shipment.
How to delete once the requirements are met
If your item meets all the conditions above, you’ll see a gray Delete button in your Inventory view when you select it.
