You may not be able to delete some of your items in warehousing if they're added to an order, indicated in an inventory shipment, or still have quantities in stock.
To delete an item from your inventory, make sure it meets the following requirements:
- The item is out of stock
If you still have stock, then either wait until you sell out of the items or get in touch with us to remove your inventory. - The item isn't reserved in an order
Check if the item isn't in an order that's Waiting for Fulfillment, Being Fulfilled, On Hold, or Draft, and cancel the order if the item's there. - The item isn't suspended
In the Inventory view, see if the item has the Suspended status which applies for items with unpaid storage fees. Pay for the storage fees and get in touch with us to lift the Suspended status. - The item isn't added in an inventory shipment
Check if the item's in a shipment that's In transit, Processing, or Arrived, and wait until we receive and stock the shipment. Then, open the shipment and click the Delete shipment button. If the item's in a Draft shipment, simply delete it by clicking the Delete shipment button.
If your item meets all of the requirements above, then you'll see the gray Delete button in your Inventory view, once you select the item you want to delete.
