Where can I find the Background Removal Tool?
You can find the Background Removal Tool in the Design Maker. To use it, start designing a product, upload or select an image, and click Remove background above the design area.
What can I use it for?
The tool works on most image types, including:
- Uploaded photos
- Custom graphics
- Premium Images (like Getty stock images)
This gives you more creative control without needing to use third-party design software.
Why can't I see the Background Removal Tool?
The Background Removal Tool isn’t available if:
- You haven’t logged into your Printful account
- You’re editing a layer or Premium Image that is larger than 12MB
- The image exceeds 50 megapixels
If the button is disabled, the image likely falls into one of these limits.
