If your product isn’t using one of your branding presets, it usually means the preset couldn’t be applied. This can happen for two main reasons:
1. The product category doesn’t support custom branding
Some products can’t be shipped with custom packaging or pack-ins because of their size or how they’re handled during fulfillment. These items will always ship in white-label packaging, even if you’ve set up a branding preset.
Products that don’t support custom branding include:
- Structured hats
- Stationery and stickers
- Wall art
- Drinkware
- Pet accessories
- Home decor (holiday decor, blankets, candles, pillows and pillowcases, magnets, and tableware)
These products will always be shipped in standard white-label packaging.
2. Your custom packaging doesn’t fit the product
If the custom packaging you’ve sent in doesn’t match the product’s dimensions, the preset can’t be applied. When this happens, you have two options:
- Send new packaging that fits the product’s size.
- Opt the product out of using a branding preset. You can follow this guide to see how to add or remove branding presets from specific products or from your whole store.
