You can add products to your BigCommerce store either directly through Printful or by creating them in BigCommerce and syncing them later. The easiest and fastest method is using Printful’s Product push generator, which automatically syncs your designs, variants, and pricing.
Add products from your Printful Dashboard (recommended)
- In your Printful Dashboard, you’ll see one of two navigation layouts depending on your interface:
- Go to Stores, then select your BigCommerce store
or - Go to My products, choose your BigCommerce store → go to Published
- Click Add/Create product.
- Browse our catalog and choose the product you want to sell.
- Customize the product:
- Add your design (upload a file or use the Design Maker’s resources)
- Select available sizes and colors
- Choose your preferred mockup style and format (JPG or PNG)
- Edit your product details:
- Give your product a title and description (we provide default info you can adjust)
- Decide whether to include the size guide
- Set your profit margins; Printful will calculate the final retail price. Keep in mind: shipping costs and taxes aren’t included in this profit calculation. Be sure to account for those expenses separately when pricing your products.
- Choose a product category to organize your listings in BigCommerce.
- Decide whether to publish the product immediately or save it as a draft.
- Click Submit to store.
Your product will now appear in your BigCommerce admin panel, ready to sell!
Sync products from BigCommerce to Printful
If you’ve already created products in BigCommerce, you can still connect them to Printful. To do that:
- Make sure each product has SKUs for every size and color variant.

- In your Printful Dashboard, open your BigCommerce store.
- You’ll see a list of unsynced products. Click on a product to start syncing.
- For each variant, upload the print file you want us to use for fulfillment.
A few important tips
- Always make sure your product type in BigCommerce is set to “Physical product”; otherwise, Printful won’t be able to fulfill it.
- Each product variant (color + size combo) must be clearly defined to sync properly.
