Every Printful order involves two separate transactions:
- Your customer pays you through your online store or marketplace (e.g., Shopify, Etsy).
- Printful charges you to fulfill that order.
The difference between what your customer pays you as the seller and what Printful charges is your profit.
To accept payments from your customers
You’ll need to set up a third-party payment processor on your store (e.g., Shopify, Etsy) so that customers can check out and pay you directly. Here are a few options you can use:
- PayPal
- Braintree
- Authorize.net
- Your store platform’s native payment service. For example:
-
- Shopify Payments if you use Shopify
- Follow Squarespace’s Help Center recommendations if you’re using Squarespace
-
Setting up your payment processor is essential—Printful can’t collect payments from your customers on your behalf.
Note: If you’re using Quick Stores, Printful partners with Stripe to securely process payments and pay out your revenue share. You can learn more about Quick Stores payments here.
