Here's how to submit your EU and UK VAT ID:
- Register as a VAT payer in the country where your business is located
- Go to your Printful Dashboard
- Go to Billing > EU and UK VAT
- Click Add VAT ID
Then, you’ll be asked to enter your country and VAT ID and upload your VAT certificate.* Once you’ve submitted your information, we’ll review it and let you know whether your VAT ID was approved by email.
If you have both the EU and UK VAT IDs, you can submit your second VAT ID and VAT certificate by emailing taxexemptions@printful.com. This only applies if you have both the EU and UK VAT IDs. It’s not possible to add multiple EU VAT IDs at this moment.
*A VAT certificate is given to you when you register as a VAT payer. This depends on where you register since some countries don’t distribute VAT certificates. If you don’t have one, submit an invoice containing your business name and VAT ID.
If approved, VAT is applied depending on where your order is fulfilled and where you’re registered as a VAT payer.
If your VAT ID is rejected, try submitting it again. Until your VAT ID is approved, we’ll charge VAT on all orders going to EU member states.
If you have any questions, read how VAT is applied to EU-bound orders and how Printful charges VAT in the UK.
Note: Printful is obligated to declare all invoices with a 0% VAT charge to Latvia’s Revenue Services.
