One of the biggest perks of Print on Demand is being able to offer a wide range of styles, colors, and sizes. But to make that possible, we don’t keep every single product variant in stock at all times, especially the less popular ones. Those are restocked on demand, which usually takes just a few days and is already factored into our fulfillment time.
Still, you might sometimes notice that a product is out of stock for longer. Here’s why that can happen:
Common reasons for out-of-stock products
- The manufacturer has a low inventory.
- The product is sourced from a distant location.
- The item has been discontinued without a warning from the supplier.
What to do if a product in your order is out of stock
- Switch to another product by clicking Change order in your Dashboard.
- Wait for restocking, though we can’t guarantee a timeline.
- Cancel the order and get a refund by selecting the order in your Dashboard.
How to stay ahead of stock issues
To avoid surprises, check the Availability tab on each product page. It shows:
- What’s in stock at our facilities.
- What’s stocked on demand.
- What’s been discontinued.
Note: You’ll need to be logged into your account to see this tab.
You can also set up alternative products as backups in case something goes out of stock. This helps keep your store running smoothly without any extra effort.
