We do our best to fulfill orders in the order we receive them, but newer orders may sometimes be processed and shipped faster. Here’s why that can happen.
How we manage our order queue
To avoid delays, we route each order to the facility with the most available capacity. That means where and how fast your order gets fulfilled depends on the product and the fulfillment center it’s routed to.
- Routing: Orders might ship from different Printful locations depending on the product availability and delivery address. Sometimes you’ll see different speeds for getting orders out the door, even for similar items, like t-shirts.
- Order volume: If the ordered item can only be fulfilled at a specific facility, and that facility is experiencing higher order volume, the order waits in line for production.
- Production flexibility: When possible, we’ll route your orders to a facility with greater available capacity, which can result in more widely available products being fulfilled faster. You can find more information about order routing here.
