Yes! You can offer free shipping for products when pushing them to your Etsy, Shopify, or eBay store through the Printful Dashboard.
When you add a new product, you’ll see a Free shipping on your storefront toggle during the pricing step. When enabled, this tells Etsy (or another platform) to list the product with free shipping for customers. Keep in mind, you’ll still cover the shipping cost, so you’ll want to factor it into your retail price.
How to offer free shipping for new products
Here’s how to set it up:
- In your Printful Dashboard, go to Stores and select your store.
- Click Add product.
- Once you reach the Pricing step, toggle on Free shipping on your storefront.
- Adjust the retail price to include the shipping cost (you’ll still be charged for shipping by Printful).
- Finish and publish your product.
Once published, the product will display as free shipping on your storefront.
What this looks like on Etsy
When you enable free shipping, Etsy adds a “Free shipping” label to your listing. It’s a simple way to show buyers they won’t be charged extra for delivery, without breaking down how shipping is included in the price. This clear, upfront display helps attract more shoppers and can even boost your listing’s visibility in search results.
Tip: Set free shipping as your default for all new products
Want to simplify things? You can set free shipping as your default option:
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Stores and select your store.
- Scroll to Product push settings.
- Tick the box for Display my products with free shipping.
- Click Save.
Now, every new product you push will automatically be listed with free shipping (you can still turn it off manually per product).
Understanding Printful’s shipping charges
When you enable free shipping during product push, Printful assigns your product to a shipping profile with $0 cost shown on the storefront. This means your customer pays a single price with shipping included.
However, Printful still charges you for shipping during order fulfillment. That’s why it’s important to factor shipping costs into your retail price, so you can maintain your profit margins while keeping the appeal of free shipping.
