Yes, you can! From your Printful Dashboard, go to Settings → Stores, then choose your Etsy store. Scroll down to the Default country of origin section and pick the desired fulfillment location from the full list of Printful facilities.
Once set, Printful will use that location’s country and postal code (e.g., 28273 for North Carolina) when creating delivery profiles for your products in Etsy.
Why this setting matters
Choosing the right origin can help in several ways:
- Shows the “Ships from” country and may earn a local seller badge, boosting buyer trust
- Helps buyers filter based on location
- Affects shipping rates and tax calculations
Picking your target market’s region once ensures a smoother listing setup moving forward.
Quick setup steps
- Log in to Printful Dashboard
- Go to Settings → Store settings → General, and select your Etsy storefront
- Scroll to the Default country of origin
- Choose a Printful fulfillment center (US, EU, Canada, UK, etc.)
- Click Save; no further action needed!
What happens to existing listings
When you change your Default country of origin in the Printful Dashboard, it updates the shipping profiles we’ve already pushed to your Etsy store. That means all products assigned to those profiles, including existing listings, will reflect the new origin country.
You don’t need to manually update individual listings, as long as they’re still connected to a Printful-generated shipping profile. The change will apply automatically across all listings using those profiles.
If you’ve created custom shipping profiles or reassigned listings to profiles you manage manually, those won’t be affected.
