Retail prices are what your customers see in your store, and keeping them up to date helps you manage your profits effectively. Depending on your store’s integration, you can update retail prices either directly from Printful or through your ecommerce platform.
When setting or adjusting your retail prices, be sure to account for relevant factors other than just the Printful product cost. Consider applicable taxes and any platform-specific transaction fees that may affect your final earnings. If you’re new to this, our Printful Academy lesson How to Price Your Print-on-Demand Products is a great place to start.
To update retail prices from Printful
You can update retail prices directly from Printful if you’re using Etsy, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, or WooCommerce. Prices can be adjusted individually for each product variant or in bulk across multiple products.
To edit exact retail prices for product variants:
- Find the product you want to change the price for and click Edit.
- Click Edit prices.
- Update the prices and press Save prices to finish.
To edit prices in bulk using a profit margin:
- Select the products you want to update. (Use the top checkbox to select all products on the page.)
- Click Edit prices.
- Choose whether to apply a percentage or fixed amount profit margin.
- Update the prices and press Save prices to finish.
To update retail prices for other integrations
For all other integrations, retail prices must be updated directly through your ecommerce platform. Once you’ve made the changes, go to your Printful Dashboard, navigate to your store, and click Refresh data. After syncing, your updated prices will appear in Printful.
Since the process for editing retail prices can differ between platforms, we recommend checking the platform’s help center or contacting their support team for detailed steps.
