How do I add products to my store?

Once your ecommerce platform is connected, you can start adding products right away. Depending on your integration, you can create products directly in the Dashboard, manually sync ones you’ve already added to your store, or duplicate existing products to speed things up.

1. Use the Product Push Generator

This is the easiest way to create and send products to your store. Go to your Printful Dashboard. You can start adding a product in one of two ways, depending on how your Dashboard is set up:

• Go to Stores, find your store, and click Add product
  or
• Go to My products → go to Published → choose your store → click Create product

The Design Maker window will open. From there: 

1. Choose your product type, colors, and sizes.
2. Add your design.
3. Write your product description, choose mockup images, and set your prices.
4. Publish the product directly to your store.

2. Manually sync products

You can manually sync products that already exist in your store to match them with Printful products. This is useful if:

• You created the product directly in your store instead of through Printful.
• You want to connect an existing product to a new Printful product.
• You’ve updated product details in your store and need to re-sync them with Printful.

Once synced, your product will be linked to its Printful counterpart and ready for fulfillment:

1. First, create and publish the products in your ecommerce platform.
2. In your Dashboard, go to Stores or My Products and select your store
3. Click Edit next to each unsynced product.
4. Match it with the correct Printful product, variant, add print files, select mockups, and save.

3. Duplicate an existing product

You can copy an existing product in your Printful Dashboard and edit the duplicate to make changes.

• Use this for products with similar sizes, colors, or branding options.
• Change the design, adjust variants, or update other details before publishing.

Tip: Products added with the Product Push Generator usually appear in your store within minutes, but timing depends on your platform. In some cases, it may take longer for them to sync. Learn more about this here.
