What should I know when selecting products for my TikTok Shop store?

TikTok Shop’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) policy requires orders to ship within 2 business days. You can publish any Printful product that’s available for fulfillment in your store's selling region (US or UK), but not every product can be made and shipped that fast. Choose products that meet the 2-day window, or set up Made-to-Order for the ones that don’t. This helps you avoid late shipments and keep your TikTok Shop account in good standing.

Products that meet TikTok Shop’s 2-day SLA

These products can be fulfilled within TikTok’s standard 2-business-day dispatch window, so no extra setup is needed:

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing
T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and other men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing printed with DTG. DTG works best for colorful, detailed designs.
Embroidery with a pre-digitized design
Hats, caps, and embroidered apparel with a design that has already been digitized.
Home & living products
Drinkware and wall art, such as mugs, posters, and framed posters. Home & living products made with the AOP or sublimation techniques, like pillows and blankets, aren’t included.

Note

An embroidery design counts as pre-digitized once an order with that design has been placed, whether that’s a sample order or an earlier customer order. For a new embroidery design, list the product as Made-to-Order first. After the first order with that design, you can switch the listing back to standard handling time.

Products that need Made-to-Order on TikTok Shop

Some printing techniques take longer to produce. These products usually ship within 3-5 business days, which is outside TikTok’s standard 2-day window:

All-Over Print (AOP), including home & living products made this way, like AOP pillows and blankets
All-Over Cotton
Direct-to-film (DTFlex)
Sublimation (excluding drinkware)
Embroidery with a new design that hasn’t been ordered yet

You can still sell these products on TikTok Shop if your shop is eligible for Made-to-Order. Made-to-Order extends your handling time to between 3 and 14 business days. We recommend setting it around 5 business days.

Check that your TikTok Shop qualifies for Made-to-Order. See What is TikTok Made-to-Order and how do I qualify for it?
Publish the product to your TikTok Shop from Printful.
In TikTok Seller Center, manually change the product’s handling time to Made-to-Order.

Note

TikTok ships Made-to-Order items in separate packages. When an order is split, each package is charged its own shipping. Keep this in mind when you set your prices and shipping rates.

If your shop isn’t eligible for Made-to-Order, only list products that meet the 2-day SLA.

What happens if I list products that don’t meet TikTok Shop’s SLA?

TikTok tracks how quickly you handle orders. If you list products that can’t ship within your handling time, you can get late shipments, canceled orders, or account restrictions.

Products that can’t be fulfilled in your store's selling region (US or UK) can’t be published to TikTok Shop. If you try, you’ll see a message saying the product isn’t available in your store’s selling region.
