Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Click it to follow your package, or track directly from your Printful Dashboard at any time. This article covers how to access tracking, what each status means, and what to do if updates seem slow or stopped.
Track your order from your Printful Dashboard
You can also track your order directly from your Dashboard:
- Go to the Orders section.
- Open the fulfilled order you want to track.
- Click See tracking.
This will take you to our tracking page, where you’ll find all the shipment details in one place. This also includes links to the carrier tracking pages.
What the tracking statuses mean
Here are some of the more frequent tracking statuses you may see on the tracking page. The exact wording can vary slightly depending on the carrier.
| Tracking status | Explanation |
| Shipping label created | Shipping information was shared with the carrier. |
| Shipment dispatched to carrier | The shipment has left the Printful fulfillment facility and is on its way to the primary carrier. |
| Parcel processed at the hub | The package has been sorted at the carrier's regional hub and is continuing through the delivery network. |
| Item forwarded to processing location | The package has been passed to the next facility, often a local sorting center or the next carrier, for the following stage of delivery. |
| Arrived at customs | The package has reached a customs facility and is waiting for or going through customs clearance. This applies to international shipments. The recipient may need to contact their local postal service to clear customs. |
| Item received at delivery office | The package has arrived at the local delivery office or post office closest to the delivery address. |
| Out for delivery | The package is with the local carrier and is scheduled to be delivered that day. |
| Delivery attempt | The carrier tried to deliver the package but couldn't complete it. A new attempt is usually scheduled, or pickup instructions are provided. |
| Delivered (in/at mailbox) | The package has been delivered and left in or at the recipient's mailbox. |
| Available for pickup | The package is ready for collection at a local pickup point or post office. Monitor tracking updates, as pickup notifications may not be sent. |
| Return to sender | The package couldn't be delivered and is being sent back to the return address, for example, because of an incorrect address or an unclaimed package. Please follow the steps described in this article: My order is being returned to sender—what should I do? |
Tracking international orders
When your order is shipped internationally, and even in some domestic cases, it might pass through more than one carrier. The shipping service that starts the journey may not be the one that delivers it to your door. This final delivery step is handled by what's called a final-mile carrier.
For example, your order could be shipped with DHL or Asendia, but your local postal service (like USPS in the US or Royal Mail in the UK) might be the one to complete the delivery.
If your tracking link hasn't updated in a while, it's a good idea to look up the final-mile carrier's tracking information. Sometimes the original tracking page will show the name of the final carrier and include an extra tracking number with a link to their website.
If it doesn't, you can still check tracking progress by entering your tracking number on third-party sites like:
When tracking updates appear
Tracking updates usually start appearing within 24 hours after your order is shipped. These updates come directly from the shipping carrier, and they may take a little longer to show if your order is handed off between carriers, especially for international shipments.
If your order was fulfilled at our facility in Mexico, tracking updates may take a day or two longer to appear after the order is marked as shipped. This delay is normal and part of the shipping process.
Still not seeing updates?
Try entering the original tracking number on your country's national postal service website. To find it, search "your country + postal service" in a search engine (for example, "France postal service" to find La Poste).
