When setting up shipping prices in your store, it’s important to factor in the shipping costs we charge to fulfill your orders. But how you present those costs to your customers is totally up to you. There are a few different strategies you can use depending on your goals; whether that’s keeping pricing simple, boosting sales, or covering shipping in creative ways.
Charge the full shipping cost
Let your customers pay the same shipping rate we charge you. This is the simplest option; just pass on the exact cost without making any changes. It keeps things easy and ensures you’re not losing money on shipping.
Reduce shipping and adjust product prices
Lower the shipping cost for your customers, and make up the difference by slightly increasing your product prices. This can help your shipping rates look more appealing and can lead to more completed orders.
Offer free shipping (include shipping in product price)
Free shipping is one of the top reasons customers choose to buy. To offer it without hurting your margins, increase your retail prices to cover the delivery cost. You can:
- Offer free shipping on all orders.
- Apply it to certain products or regions.
- Use it as a reward for loyal customers.

While you could also raise your shipping rate above what we charge, we don’t recommend doing so—high shipping fees can drive customers away, especially at checkout.
