If an order from TikTok Shop is imported into Printful as a draft, it likely means shipping details weren’t included. TikTok masks or hides customer info if your shipping settings aren’t configured correctly, making it impossible for Printful to fulfill automatically.
What’s causing the hidden shipping info?
When your TikTok Shop is set to TikTok Shipping (also known as Platform Shipping), customer names and addresses are redacted or concealed for privacy reasons. Orders placed under this option appear as drafts in Printful since essential fulfillment info is missing.
How to prevent draft orders
To enable full shipping details from TikTok:
- Sign in to TikTok Shop Seller Center.
- Go to Orders → Fulfillment Settings → Shipping and Delivery.
- Select Seller Shipping (also labeled “Shipped by Seller”) instead of TikTok Shipping.
- Click Save.
This ensures TikTok passes full customer information to Printful for every order.
How to confirm and update draft orders
If you already have orders marked as drafts, here’s how to manually confirm them:
- In TikTok Seller Center, go to Orders → Manage Orders.
- Select the affected draft order. TikTok will display the full shipping address.
- Log in to Printful Dashboard → Orders → Drafts.
- Locate the imported draft order and click Confirm order.
- Manually enter the shipping details from TikTok.
- Once confirmed, Printful can fulfill and ship your order.
Why this matters
- Without Seller Shipping enabled, TikTok blocks critical data, and Printful cannot fulfill the order automatically.
- Draft orders cause fulfillment delays and may confuse your workflow.
- Proper shipping settings are required to ensure Printful receives complete order details and can deliver on time.
