If you need some extra time before your order moves forward, placing it on hold can be a helpful option. You may want to do this if you’re waiting for a response from your customer, need to update the shipping address but don’t see the option for it, or in other similar situations.

When you place an order on hold, it won’t proceed to fulfillment or shipping until you or our Support Team manually removes the hold. This gives you time to sort out any issues or wait for assistance from Printful support.
To place your order on hold:
- Go to your Printful Dashboard.
- Navigate to Orders.
- Click on the order you’d like to place on hold.
- Click Hold order.
- Enter the reason for the hold and click Continue.
