You can place a manual order directly from your Printful Dashboard—great for testing products, ordering samples, or sending custom items without connecting an online store.
Step 1: Choose the order type
From your Printful account, click New order in the top-right corner.
- Choose the store you’d like to place the order through. It can also be a personal order not linked to any of your stores.
- Next, select your order type:
- Sample order: Includes a 20% discount (limits apply per month). Ideal for testing print quality, new designs, or trying out new products. Learn more about sample orders.
- Basic order: A standard Printful order; ships within 3 business days on average, with no minimum order quantity and real-time shipping rates.
Step 2: Select a product
You can either create a new product from scratch or choose from your saved product templates or existing store listings. To include additional items in your order, click the Add Product button.
Step 3: Enter the shipping address
Provide the delivery details for your order. You may also include optional information such as:
- Order number
- Company name
- Retail shipping cost
Note: To enable express delivery options, make sure to enter a valid phone number.
You can use an address from your address book or paste a U.S. address directly—just be sure to follow the required formatting guidelines.
Click Calculate shipping to choose a shipping method. Additionally, you can include a personalized message that will be printed on your packing slip.
Next, select your preferred delivery method from the available options, then click Continue to review & pay.
Step 4: Review & pay
Choose your payment method and enter your billing information. Enter a discount code, if you have one. Review the shipping information and the product.
Once everything looks good, click Pay securely now to complete your order.
Note: If you place manual orders often, consider saving frequently used products as product templates to speed things up in the future.
