You can place a manual order directly from your Printful Dashboard—great for testing products or sending custom items without connecting an online store.
You don't need an account to place an order, but signing up lets you track your order status and save Product Templates for later use. Items in your cart aren't saved indefinitely, so save your order as a draft if you need to finish it later.
Step 1: Create new order
From your Printful account, click New order in the top-right corner.
Choose the store you'd like to place the order through, or select a personal order that isn't linked to any of your stores. Then select your order type:
- Sample order: Includes a 20% discount (limits apply per month). Ideal for testing print quality, new designs, or trying out new products. Learn more about sample orders.
- Basic order: A standard Printful order; ships within 3 business days on average, with no minimum order quantity.
Step 2: Select a product
Create a new product from scratch, or choose one from your saved Product Templates or existing store listings. Click Add product to include additional items in your order.
Step 3: Enter the shipping address
Enter the delivery details for your order. You can also add optional information, such as:
- Order number
- Company name
- Retail shipping cost
Use an address from your address book, or paste a U.S. address directly, following the required formatting guidelines.
Click Calculate shipping to choose a shipping method. Additionally, you can include a personalized message that will be printed on your packing slip.
Next, select your preferred delivery method, then click Continue to review & pay.
Step 4: Review and pay
Choose your payment method and enter your billing information. Enter a discount code if you have one, then review the shipping information and product details.
Once everything looks correct, click Pay securely now to submit your order.
