Shopify is automatically updated when Printful ships your products. Once your order is marked as shipped in Printful, we send this information along with the tracking number directly to your Shopify store.
If an order is split into multiple shipments, Printful will send tracking information to Shopify for each shipment separately. This way, your Shopify store stays up to date, and your customers will see tracking details for all parts of their order.
How it works:
- When Printful fulfills and ships an order, Shopify is notified automatically.
- The order status in your Shopify Admin will update to Fulfilled.
- The tracking number from Printful is also sent to Shopify and will appear in the order details.
Will my customers get a shipping notification?
If you use Shopify’s built-in shipping notification emails, your customer will automatically receive an email when the status updates to Fulfilled. If your email template includes the tracking number, Shopify will add that information too.
This means you don’t need to manually notify your customer; everything happens automatically through Shopify.
If you want to review or customize how these notifications are sent, you can do so in your Shopify Admin → Settings → Notifications.
Where can I check if tracking is added?
You can find the tracking number in your Shopify Admin under the specific order details, in the Fulfillment section.
